Deleting your Selfbased account is permanent and immediate. This page explains exactly what gets deleted, the fastest way to do it, and a request form if you can no longer sign in.
Fastest way: delete in the app
If you can still sign in, the app deletes your account on the spot:
- Open Selfbased and go to Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Deletion runs immediately. There is no waiting period and no "deactivated" limbo.
What gets deleted
Your account and the personal data attached to it: profile, quests and tasks, stats and XP, streaks, health and habit entries, finance entries, intake logs, friends and messages, proofs and Instants, and every photo you uploaded (avatars, proofs, wardrobe, intake). This matches the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.
Three narrow categories survive deletion, as the Privacy Policy explains: payment records (required for tax, billing disputes, and fraud prevention, scrubbed of personal identifiers), security and moderation records, and the record of your deletion request itself.

Enter the email address on your account and we'll take care of it. We verify the request against the account email before deleting, then confirm by email once it's done.
